Meet Dr. Miree Cho
What is your role at the office? What will we find you doing at the office?
As the associate dentist I help attend to patient’s dental needs; fixing and maintaining healthy sound teeth.
How long have you been in the dental industry?
Four years
How/why did you start working in the industry?
Visiting the dentist was always a pleasant experience and this stemmed by initial interests in dentistry. Being able to integrate science, art and meet wonderful people was the perfect combination to embark on a dental journey. Every case is different which keeps dentistry very interesting. Fun fact: each individual’s tooth shape varies and is similar to the shape of your face!
What is your favourite part of your job?
I really enjoy meeting patients and helping them continue their course of dental care to reach a healthy, stable and functional state.
Do you have a special piece of equipment/ tool/ new toy that you use at work that you would like to tell us about?
Rotary endodontic (root canal) machine; it is wireless and helps clean out infected root canals very efficiently, getting patients out of pain with the newest technology and techniques.
What is your secret superpower?
Managing to finish a half marathon at a snail-rate pace and beating the late-finishers’ pick-up bus.
What do you get up to when you’re not at work?
I like to make my best attempts to return to long-distance running and cook Korean food.
What’s your best tip on keeping a healthy mouth?
Visit the dentist at least twice a year; we love to see you! Brush twice a day, floss daily and maintain a healthy diet!
