Congratulations Dr Cho for completing the MRACDS(GDP)!
As part of our ongoing professional development plan for the team at Moss Vale Dental, our very own Dr Miree Cho recently completed the MRACDS(GDP) Membership Program with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons!
Whilst working, Miree has been completing extra studies since 2018 in her spare time, completing case reports, an oral exam and core modules in:
- Clinical examination technique and dental imaging
- Diagnosis and treatment planning
- Medical emergencies
- Practice management, law, ethics and risk management
- Infection control
- Therapeutics in Dentistry, pain and pain management
A quote from Miree
“I found the program very fulfilling as I was able to engage in current evidence-based research, which helped me integrate that into my everyday practice. And, it was good to get back to some study after leaving university in 2016—certainly keeps the brain cells fully charged!”
“The most difficult part is always the oral examination; two Fellows of the College ask questions about difficult diagnostic and clinical problems we all see in general practice, and I have to come up with answers to a lot of difficult scenarios, and all via Zoom, because of Covid. It was very stimulating, and I’m glad it’s over (and that I passed!)” Said Miree
Undertaking this program enabled Dr Cho to be up to date with current evidence-based dentistry and to appreciate dentistry with even more comprehensive scientific knowledge.
Congratulations and well done for all your hard work and taking on the extra challenge! Patrick may be in for some healthy competition with the additional post nominals!
