Practice History
The office has been in its present location only since Sepetmber 2002. In that year, Patrick Meaney decided to move his practice to a brand-new custom-built office, taking advantage of advancements in dental technology to provide an ultra-modern facility for his patient's treatment.

Dr Meaney took up practice in Moss Vale in 1989, joining and eventually leading as senior partner the sole practice in Moss Vale at that time, established by now-retired Dr Kenneth Pogson in the late 1950s. Up until that time there had been two dental practices in Moss Vale, but Ken's arrival saw these amalgamated. The practice grew during the subsequent decades with many innovations introduced by Ken Pogson, including computerisation of patient records in 1983-an amazingly early adoption of a now-prevalent practice enhancement. In fact, several other local practices began their life as branch practices of the original Moss Vale office.
It was Dr Pogson's strong support for fluoridation in the early 1960s which led to Moss Vale's water supply being fluoridated, something which was only matched by neighbouring Bowral in the 1990s. Since 1989, Patrick has continued the tradition of serving local people, and with three practices now established in Moss Vale, he remains the only local dentist to work, and live, in Moss Vale.

Dr Meaney is a strong supporter of the local area, with past stints as President of the Moss Vale Chamber of Commerce and service in the Moss Vale Rotary Club. He is married, with three boys.
